Permanent Makeup is a revolutionary and safe approach of restoring a natural and youthful appearance. Looking gorgeous from early morning until late at night is possible, with permanent makeup! When performed correctly, permanent makeup goes undetected and creates a beautiful enhanced look.
Although called permanent, Permanent Makeup is only semi permanent. Due to the nature of the pigments, implantation method on only the first layers of skin, and our skin's healing process it will not remain forever. Other factors include skin type, activity level, and our immune system. The color is implanted into the surface layers of the skin appearing twice as dark as the healed results. The initial color is not your final color results. Healing period is 10 days for superficial healing and 28 days for full healing cycle. The color fades as some sloths off and the remainder is seen through the skin appearing lighter.
All permanent makeup requires at least two sessions in order to achieve the desired results. One touchup is included in your primary payment and should be scheduled after your first visit. There are no extra appointments prior to your touchup. It must heal for at least 4 weeks before any new work can be done. The touchup enables us to create perfection. If you are ready to book please fill out our intake form.

How can permanent makeup help me?
The most common permanent makeup procedure is eyebrow tattooing, also known as microblading or hair stroke eyebrows. Similarly, powder eyebrows are longer lasting brows giving a soft pixelated effect. So many of us have sparse or missing eyebrows that an entire industry has been dedicated to it. We even have a Permanent Makeup podcasts created by The American Academy of Micropigmentation https://micropigmentation.org/ believing in excellence through knowledge.
🌹Microblading - Eyebrows which look like hair strokes drawn on with a hand tool at equal depth to a paper cut. Looks good with shading. Lasting 6 to 18 months. Best results on dry youthful skin.
🌹Blade and Shade- A combination of blading and shading, also known as combo brows. Can be drawn with a machine, hand tool or both depending on skin type.
🌹Powder Brows - A soft powder or ombre brow look. Shading only resembling a makeup look created with a cosmetic tattoo pen appearing like pixelated dots. Good on all skin types. Lasting up to 3 years. May be used to cover previous permanent makeup that has faded possibly eliminating the need for removal.
Each eyebrow type looks beautiful. All are great options saving you time and money in the morning. Just like when painting a wall requiring 2 coats, permanent makeup is applied in layers slowly building the color to give the most natural look. Fading is expected. We call the second session the touchup session. It is performed 4 to 6 week after initial session and is for adding color, saturation, and perfecting the shape. There are to be no changes made until your touchup appointment. A full cell skin turnover cycle must occur to see actual results before we do the touchup. Occasionally a third session is needed (not included).
We don't offer touchups for other artists' work as working over extremely faded ink requires the full process of measuring, drawing, and completing new brows. Ink which is not faded at least 80% needs removal before creating new brows.

Do I need to get a ride to my appointment?
Permanent Makeup does not impair you in any way.
What is the recovery?
There is little to no downtime. Lips may swell for a few days. Eyeliner and brows look just fine
What to expect after my appointment?
Brows - Color appears dark then fades then reappears. Prevent scabbing by applying ointment!
Eyeliner - Area may be sensitive for one day. Minimal to no swelling.
Lips - Lips may swell for up to 3 days and will peel like dry chapped lips. Color appears 50% darker than final result for about a week. Color may disappear while settling into the lower layers of the skin, then show through again. Do not panic.
Why is the price high?
Mastering the artistry of permanent makeup requires a lot of knowledge and training. The dedication and commitment to acquire such a skillset is the same as any other respected profession.
Do I need to shave my eyebrows?
Any existing brow hair remains the same. Maintenance of unruly existing hair does not change.
What is an eyelash enhancement?
A very thin line drawn directly on the eyelashes is called an eyelash enhancement and is used to enhance the lash line but does not give a true eyeliner look. Waterline can not be tattooed due to risk of migration. This is a great alternative to wearing mascara.
What is a touchup?
Permanent Makeup is only semi permanent due to the nature of the pigments, implantation method, and our skin's healing process. The color appears darker at first. After 4 weeks it fades and needs more color to complete saturation. Treatments are not considered complete without a touchup. Just like painting a wall needing two layers of paint so to with permanent makeup building color is necessary for complete saturation and long lasting results.
Why do we need touch-ups?
Permanent makeup is not permanent in our skin until it heals. While it's healing much of the pigment sloths off due to it's shallow depth. Permanent makeup does not go as deep as a traditional tattoo contributing to why it's only semi permanent. The healing process involves the color lightening as it settles into the skin. Adding a second coat gives it enough saturation to achieve the desired color and have long lasting results.
What if I like to wear my own makeup?
Permanent Makeup appears natural helping you feel good about yourself all the time instead of looking washed out and pale. It is not meant to replace dramatic makeup looks. You may wear your own makeup over it for an evening out, party, or event once completely healed.
Does it hurt?
We offer a topical numbing to ensure you stay comfortable the entire time. Most clients experience minimal pain. There is no active bleeding and it should not hurt.
