Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a skin resurfacing procedure that involves creating tiny controlled injuries on the skin's surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural wound healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. As the skin heals, it becomes firmer, smoother, and more even in tone and texture. Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and stretch marks, as well as improve overall skin texture and firmness. It is commonly performed on the face, but can also be used on other areas of the body
Microneedling can be performed by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, or trained skincare professionals.
Inkless tattooing is primarily used to improve skin texture and reducing scars, fine lines and wrinkles. It does not create a design or artistic pattern like regular tattoos. It involves using a tattoo device with fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulates collagen production and improves skin texture. It punctures the skin at a shallow depth to promote quick healing and regeneration.

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a popular treatment that rejuvenates the skin's natural ability to produce collagen by creating micro injuries forcing the body to repair itself and produce new healthy skin cells as a safe and effective way to get smoother skin!
Needles gently prick the skin to create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the body to repair itself. As a result, this speeds up the regenerative system, increases protein production, and restores skin condition to a healthier state and more youthful appearance.
Collagen is the protein responsible for our skin's structure, strength, and elasticity. We produce approximately 1% less collagen every year. This process thins the skin and leads to wrinkles over time.
Microneedling can benefit anyone with fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tones, and scarring such as pitting from acne scars or stretch marks, large pores, or anyone wanting brighter tighter, and more youthful skin.
Skin will be red, sore, and a little raw. Micro balm healing ointment will help alleviate redness within 24 hours. Peeling and dryness will occur within a few days. Keeping the skin clean and applying moisturizer will speed up the healing process.
It is safe to do microneedling every 6 weeks.
You will have tighter, brighter, smoother, and more youthful skin with improved texture.
Microneedling is 100% effective in accelerating collagen production, seeing greater results with deeper penetration. A brighter, tighter, and overall smoother texture becomes noticeable usually within 4 to 6 weeks.
Avoid the use of harsh chemicals, acids, peels, retinol, exfoliants, UV rays, and abrasive skin treatments two weeks prior and 2 weeks after. Take into consideration the skin is hyper sensitive during the healing process and the risk of irritation is greater.
Most conditions improve with each treatment. 3 to 6 treatments are recommended using caution with skin prone to hyper pigmentation which can take longer to heal.
Topical numbing is applied for your comfort.
Microneedling has a shorter down time and less chance of darkening and bruising than other skin resurfacing treatments. Microneedling is less invasive and better suited for very sensitive skin. Results are similar in effectiveness, in correcting minor skin problems, to other skin resurfacing treatments such as laser.
Appointments are booked for 45 minutes.
Yes. Hyperpigmentation can occur for several weeks in those prone to hyperpigmentation and is often seen when reducing stretch marks. Sessions may be spaced 8 weeks apart for hyperpigmentation to fully resolve.
It is not recommended to use derma rollers at home as they may potentially scar your skin or cause inflammation.
